prevent excessive oil thickening under high temperature conditions in accordance with
Table XIII or Table XIV. See section 4.3.7 for the verification test methods.

3.4.1.9 Used oil pumpability. Oil grade 15W-40 shall minimize the effects of
combustion blow-by products, soot accumulation, and other in-service contaminants on
used oil pumpability in accordance with Table XVI. See section 4.3.9 for the verification
test method.
